Listen & Imagine
Idea Academy · The Learning WingListen to the music, imagine a world, and turn it into a poem!
For the grown-up
Your child will listen to a piece of classical music and write the words and pictures it brings to mind on a glowing night sky. That sky is the idea for a story.
Next they choose a character and a setting, then write a haiku (3 lines, 5-7-5 beats) or a limerick (5 rhyming lines) about their character. They finish with a story page to save.
Helpful questions: What colors do you see? Who is there? How does the music make you feel? Please turn the sound on. Everything stays on this device.
