Our Purpose & Vision

A Generation That Turns Their PURPOSE Into Action.

“We equip young people to identify problems in their communities, understand how change happens, and work alongside civic leaders to create real solutions.”

The United By Creativity Mandate

Beyond “Empowerment”—Building a Real Mechanism for Change.

Our purpose isn’t simply to tell young people they have potential. United By Creativity provides a structured, repeatable framework to exercise that potential. We guide students to look at their neighborhoods and say: “I see a problem. I understand it. I know who can help. And I have a plan to address it.”

Creativity is not just art—it is our methodology for solving systemic challenges. Whether drafting policy briefs, collaborating with state representatives, or managing logistics to feed neighbors in need, our ambassadors learn how ideas transition from neighborhood concerns into enacted solutions.

Change doesn’t begin when youth become adults. It begins when they realize they can contribute right now.

The Youth Ambassador Framework

How Our Ambassadors Work

Step 01 • Identify

See the Problem

We don’t assign problems. Ambassadors learn to observe their surroundings—identifying issues like food insecurity, school inequities, unsafe parks, or transportation gaps.

Step 02 • Research

Understand the Systems

Students investigate root causes: Who is affected? What has been tried? Does this require city council action, state legislation, or a grassroots nonprofit alliance?

Step 03 • Partner

Connect with Leaders

Ambassadors bridge directly with state representatives, council members, and civic organizers to learn how policy moves from public discussion into law.

Step 04 • Design

Create the Solution

Youth architect a proposed intervention: an event series, a formal policy brief, a public-awareness campaign, or a community service partnership.

Step 05 • Voice

Advocate & Present

Students master persuasive public speaking, meeting with stakeholders, presenting formal testimony, and building broad community support.

Step 06 • Execute

Take Measurable Action

Leadership ends in delivery. Ambassadors execute the initiative, track tangible results, and evaluate the real-world impact on their community.

Inaugural Year Signature Initiative

Our Creative Table: Putting the Framework to Work.

Our Creative Table isn’t a separate project—it is our signature civic lab where Youth Ambassadors apply the entire 6-step model to food insecurity. Rather than observing service from the sidelines, our ambassadors lead the effort to provide nutritious meals and restorative human connection to people experiencing homelessness.

Government & Civic Relations

Ambassadors engage city officials and state representatives to understand municipal housing policies and invite them to the table.

Partnerships & Sourcing

Youth collaborate with local kitchens, shelters, and grocery partners to plan nourishing menus with dignity and care.

Experience & Community Voice

Students integrate music, art, and personal storytelling, ensuring unhoused neighbors are greeted with warmth, dignity, and belonging.

Young people don’t just have a voice. They can use it to create change.

United By Creativity gives them the structured process, the civic relationships, and the community opportunities to prove it.
